ADVENTURES IN TRUTH: Gems of Unity Thought

Unity as a movement has always shared our message via the written word. For years and years, when a

person called Silent Unity for prayers they would receive in response, not only a letter affirming that they

were praying, but also a pamphlet that focused a teaching on the prayer request. Some of those earlier

pamphlets are classics. These will be the focus of our studies from April 13 – May 25th.

Each of these classes is a “stand alone” class… this is not a book study. The pamphlets will be

photocopied and ready for you to enjoy.

April 13 – “The Pure Reason and Honest Logic of Practical Christianity” by Charles Fillmore: There is nothing new under the sun. Modern metaphysics is merely a revival of the philosophies taught by the wise of an almost forgotten past. The Principles that underlie existence are being again brought to the attention of men. The race is again entering the cycle of knowledge, and we catch once more the light of pure reason and honest logic.

April 20 – “Finding the Christ in Ourselves” by H. Emilie Cady

Throughout all His teachings Jesus tried to show those who listened to Him, how He was related to the Father, and to teach them that they were related to the same Father in exactly the same way.

April 27 – “Diligence” Nothing worthwhile is ever accomplished by the person who gives up easily. A persistency born of courage and a courage born of faith are needed if one would live greatly.

May 4 – “Health Through Right Thinking” Health can be built up and sustained through right thinking. Right thinking is Godward thinking, holding steadily to the good, the pure, the true..
