Welcome New Board Members!
Okay, here's the scoop ~ at our general meeting (for
those who weren't there) we elected new board members.
Then, as per our by-laws, the board then selects it's
own officers. At the general election March 28th, the
following people were elected to sit on the board:
Debbie Garcia, Marilyn Puriment, and Angie Norieka were
elected as general Board of Trustee members. Norma Jaget
was elected as the alternate member.
Many
thanks for all their years of service goes out to
Carlton Quiller, most recently Board VP and Diane Smith,
the now former Board President. Even though they have
both left the board, niether of them is leaving their
spirit of volunteerism behind.
Carlton is now in charge of the building team. This is
something that he was doing all along so it is just
official now. Diane Smith also hasn't left, she was key
in designing the up cominbFlip It Good event
(see below).
Then, Sunday, 18 April 2010, the Board voted in new
officers. Here are the results: President Peterlyn
Wezt, Vice President Marilynn Putriment, Barbara
Scheuer & Simone Kiven are Co-Secretaries, Debbie Garcia
- Treasurer and Angie Norieka is Trustee. Welcome! And
thank you!
As
our esteemed President Emeritus, Diane Smith says "You
can't possibly thank volunteers enough..." But we're
sure going to try! We would also like to recognize our
